The Asian Formula Series 2004 will consist of six events, two races per event. The series will be part of the Asian Festival of Speed in China.

According to the AF3, the 2003 calendar will again have six legs and 12 rounds and that there will be two classes within the series, namely, the International Class for post 1998 cars and the Promotional Class for pre-1998 cars, each with their own, separate individual and team championships.
