Frederic Vervisch was followed home by Rafael Suzuki and Ed Pead who recorded his first top three finish in the Series. Matt Howson had led Suzuki in a battle for second place until drive shaft failure forced him out on the final lap.
Matt Howson took a fine win after soaking up the pressure from Frederic Vervisch with Rafael Suzuki in third place. It was an exciting race as both Suzuki and Vervisch stalled at the start resulting in both drivers having to chase after the leaders.
Rafael Suzuki took an accomplished win in the first race of the Castrol Asian F3 Super Racing Festival weekend. Matt Howson was second with Frederic Vervisch third.
Fredric Vervisch qualified on pole position for the first race of the final 2007-8 Asian Formula Three Series event to be held at the Batangas Race Circuit in the Philippines. Rafael Suzuki was second with Matt Howson third.
Leonardo Valois will drive for Aran Racing in the final event of the 2007/08 Asian F3 series which takes place at Batangas Racing Circuit, Philippines from Mar 28th – 30th. Leonardo will drive one of the teams Dallara F304 Toms Toyota cars.
