James Winslow was presented with a Gregor Grant Award in recognition of his part in saving the life of Moreno Soeprapto after his fiery crash in Sentul. The award was presented at the prestigious Autosport Awards Night in London. The next day he was made a full member of the British Racing Drivers Club at Silverstone and presented by Damon Hill with the Innes Ireland award for winning the AF3 Series and for sportsmanship.

The Asian Formula Three Corporation has today announced the plans for the 2007 season. The Asian Formula Three Series will move to the ‘Winter Months’ with the first event in November 2007 and the final race in May 2008. In the meantime the AF3 Pacific Series will take place, starting at Zhuhai China in January 2007 before teaming up with the Australian Championship at Melbourne in March for the F1 GP support race, moving on to Oran Park in Sydney in April before the final round back at Zhuhai in June, subject to the required approvals being obtained.

James Winslow finished a superb 12th place in the Macau F3 GP today. After starting 19th in the 33 car field he completed the first lap in 12th place. “Our aim was a top fifteen finish and I am so happy to have gone three places better” said an elated Winslow. “I have to thank AF3 for giving me the opportunity and San Miguel Corporation for supporting us. I would also like to thank the team, Zap Speed”. Mike Conway won the race from Richard Antinucci and Adrian Sutil.

James Winslow achieved his ambition of starting the main Macau F3 GP in the top twenty by finishing 19th in the qualifying race today. After a disappointing qualifying session yesterday when he failed to get a clear lap Winslow was extremely happy to record a lap time in his San Miguel Corporation supported car over two seconds faster than his qualifying effort. “I will finish in the top 15 tomorrow” reported a confident Winslow

James Winslow qualified a disappointed 26th after suffering a car damaging off at the beginning of the qualifying session. Kamui Kobayashi qualified on pole position in a red flag blighted session, the first having been caused by the AF3 Champion.
