Charlie Hollings qualified on pole position for this afternoon’s race, round 16 of the Series. He was three tenths of a second quicker than Tyson Sy and Ali Jackson with Winslow in fourth place. Philip Forsman was fastest Promotions Class runner.

Round 15, which was postponed from the previous Sentul event, was run at the Batangas Race Circuit this morning and turned out to be one of the most exciting races seen to date in the series. Pena took a last lap victory from Tyson Sy and James Winslow. Michele Bumgarner won the Promotions Class.

Dado Pena set the fastest time of the day and headed the times for two of the three practice sessions today. Ali Jackson topped the timesheet for the second session. Michele Bumgarner was the fastest in the Promotions Class. The top six overall were covered by less than three tenths of a second promising close racing tomorrow.

Practice started today for the final AF3 event of the year at the Batangas Race Circuit. Three different drivers headed the time sheets in the three sessions with Pena recording the fastest time of the day. Michele Bumgarner was the fastest Promotions Class Driver.

Asian Formula Three took to the streets of Manila in a demonstration run around the largest shopping mall in Asia, the Mall of Asia, to publicize the final event of the year at the Batangas Race Circuit on November 4-5th. An estimated crowd of 25,000 were entertained with a great display from six of the AF3 stars.
