Ali Jackson, who currently lies second in the driver’s championship, broke his right arm in a road car accident in his native Ireland. He has had the armed pinned and is hopeful he can take part in the final event of the year at the Batangas Race Circuit in the Philippines.

John O’Hara and Moreno Soeprapto had their debut as A1GP drivers in the first Rookie Sessions held at the Zandvoort event last weekend. They joined 2005 AF3 Champion, Ananda Mikola, in the category demonstrating the increasingly important role the Asian Series is playing in the development of driver’s careers.

James Winslow again won in Sentul but only after dragging Moreno Soeprapto out of his burning car after the two collided on the first lap of the race. The delay to repair the damage to the tyre wall resulted in the postponement of round 15 which now may be held at the final event in November.

James Winslow was once again victorious in Sentul for Round Thirteen but this time he was forced to work for it having trailed Tyson Sy for four laps before finding a way past and driving away to another victory. Ali Jackson completed the podium whilst Satrio Hermanto won the Promotions Class.

James Winslow once again drove away from the field in round 12 at Sentul. Tyson Sy was second from Moreno Soeprapto. Winslow now leads the championship as Ali Jackson failed to score after crashing. Michele Bumgarner was victorious in the Promotions Class.
