A1 Team Ireland boss Mark Kershaw declared himself "very impressed" with Kildare's John O'Hara after the latter's 100 lap test for the team at Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk, UK.

The Asian Formula Three Corporation is considering switching to become a ‘winter series’ running in the European winter months. This will enable more Europeans, Americans and Japanese to compete and it has the added bonus of catching the best weather conditions in the Asian region.

John O'Hara has been invited to test, due to his results in AF3 over the past two seasons, with A1 Team Ireland at Snetterton, Norfolk, UK next Tuesday, 8th August. The multi-race winning Asian Formula 3 driver from Kildare will take the wheel of the A1 Team Ireland grand prix car as the Irish National squad continues its pre-season preparations for the second season of the A1 GP World Cup of Motorsport.

Team Release: Three wins, a second and three third places was the impressive haul of Aran Racing pairing Alastair Jackson and Moreno Soeprapto after an utterly dominant weekend for the fledgling squad at Zhuhai, China in the third event of the Asian F3 series.

The event scheduled to take place at Sentul on August 20th has been postponed due to unforeseen commercial reasons and rounds 10-12 of the Series will now be part of a five day event at the same circuit on Sept 20-24th.
