Mikola, 2005 Asian Formula Three Champion, headed the final practice sheets at the A1GP event being held on the Shanghai GP circuit. Mikola’s performance, like the race winning effort of James Winslow in the Australian F3 GP support event, demonstrates the competitiveness of Asian Formula Three.

James Winslow, third in the 2005 Asian Formula Three Series, was again on the podium finishing second behind race winner Bruno Senna. Winslow was first in race one on Thursday.

Winslow, who finished third in the 2005 Asian Formula Three Series, won the first of four support races held at the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix. A dramatic race saw several lead changes and a last gasp victory for the British driver.

Aran racing have just completed four days of testing at the Sentul Circuit, Indonesia with Ali Jackson at the wheel of their Dallara F304 TOM’S powered car. The test went extremely well and once again Jackson impressed the team.

Due to circumstances beyond their control Zhuhai International Circuit have been forced to change the date of their June 3/4 Pan Delta Super Racing Event to June 17/18th. Rounds 4-6 of the Asian Formula Three Series will therefore now be held on that date.
