Tyson Sy finished 5th, one place in front of fellow AF3 driver Dado Pena, in the Asian Formula Renault Challenge race held at Macau. However the officials had got muddled at the restart of the race and were forced to call the result from lap six of the ten lap race. This relegated Pena to tenth and Sy to eleventh place.

Asian F3 driver, Tyson Sy, qualified an impressive third in the Asian Formula Renault Macau GP support race. Fellow Filipino, Dado Pena, was fourteenth, a credible performance considering he had zero laps of the track prior to todays qualifying session. Italian Luca Persiani qualified first from Japanese Kazuya Oshima.

Asian Formula Three driver, Rodolfo Avila, qualified as the leading local pilot after first qualifying for the Macau F3 GP. Robert Kubica is on provisional pole from di Grassi, Duval and Carbone.

Tyson Sy ended practice for the Macau Asian Formula Renault challenge in an impressive third place, one place in front of Yann Clairay with Jim Kato and Luca Persiani the only drivers above him on the time sheets. Dado Pena finished in the last turn wall after only one lap, a multi car collision giving him no where to go.
