Macanese star driver Rodolfo Avila is all geared to take on the challenge in what is considered one of the most popular racing events of the year - the FIA Formula 3 Intercontinental Cup, at the 52nd Macau Grand Prix. Young drivers from all over the world are expected to battle it out in the highly-demanding streets of Macau, famous for its fast, narrow and twisting corners and its high rate of attrition.

The championship trophies were presented at the Asian F3 awards night held at the Rockwell Centre in Manila. Also crowned was the winner of the Miss Asian F3 Beauty contest.

Denso-Hanjin - Joson F3 driver Moreno Soeprapto wrapped up the Driver Championship of the year in Round 11 of the Asian Formula 3 Series.

John O’hara made it a double by winning round twelve at the Batangas Circuit with Emmet Queenan emulating his fellow Countryman in the Promotions Class. Newly crowned champion, Ananda Mikola, finished second with Avila completing the podium. Moreno Soeprapto and Jonathan Legris joined Queenan on the promotions class podium.

John O’Hara romped away to an easy victory in Round Eleven held at the Batangas Circuit in the Philippines whilst Mikola cruised round to ensure he won the Championship. It was an Indonesian clean sweep as Ananda’s brother, Moreno, clinched the Promotions Class Championship by finishing second to Emmet Queenan.
