With 2 races to go Denso-Hanjin Joson Formula 3 has wrapped up the 2005 Promotion Class Team Championship. They have an unassailable 47 points lead with just 40 points available in the last 2 rounds in the Batangas Racing Circuit on November 6th.

Tyson Sy won both races at the Sentul Circuit today, winning as he pleased. James Winslow was second twice whilst Ananda Mikola crashed out of race one and finished third in race two. Moreno Soeprapto all but wrapped up the Promotions Class title with two wins.

Tyson Sy qualified on pole for the third event in a row from James Winslow and Christian Jones. Moreno Soeprapto was first Promotions Class runner with Farrell second and Murphy third.

Tyson Sy was again fastest of the day from James Winslow and Dado Pena. Sy topped the time sheets in two of the three Friday practice sessions held at the Sentul Circuit in Indonesia. Lee Farrell was fastest Promotions Class runner.

Ananda Mikola takes a 45 point lead into the next event at Sentul on September 18th and he just needs to maintain this points margin to be declared 2005 Champion with one event remaining on November 6th in the Philippines. The battle for second is extremely tight with Winslow, O’Hara, Jones, Pena and Sy all within nine points of each other.
