Its looks almost certain there will be twenty cars on the grid for the first AF3 event of 2005 at the Batangas Race Circuit on April 10th.

Brandon Angel, who was the youngest driver competing in the Asian Zone Karting Open Championship in the Cadet 85 Division, took third overall in the Championship at the Series final in Jakarta Indonesia on December 19th.

Just as with Formula One, AF3 has its own ‘silly season’ with rumours of new drivers, drivers changing teams and new teams joining for 2005. One thing for certain is that there will be at least 20 cars on the grid for the first race in 2005.

Lucas di Grassi was given a 25 second penalty and dropped to 19th, elevating O'Hara to 13th place.
