Eizza Santos Lim was crowned Miss AF3 2004 at the final of the Miss AF3 Beauty Contest held at the Power Plant Mall in Metro Manila. The contest was part of the official launch night of the Asian Formula Three Series.

Filipino Tyson Sy will race the Minardi Team Asia Dallara 398 car in the Philippine Formula Three Championship. It is expected Chinese driver, Mars Hsieh, will take over the car for the Asian Formula Three Rounds in China.

Japanese driver, Kenko Miura, has been confirmed as the team mate to Richard Joson. Miura will drive the team's Dallara TOM'S 398 in the Promotion Class

John Ohara, the 2003 irish formula champion, will be joining the Shell Kinetic F3 team for the 2004 AF3 season. He will be paired with 2003 champion, Pepon Marave, and is considered a top favorite for the 2004 title. John will be bringing 12 years of European racing experience and will be driving the second Dallara 301 car of the Shell Kinetic F3 Racing Team. Both cars are powered by Torii tuned Toyota engines.

Minardi Team Asia Formula BMW Asia driver, Dado Pena, is to drive for Christian Jones Racing in the Philippine Formula Three Championship, it was announced today. Philippine F3 is open to cars build before 1999 and is run as part of the Asian Formula Three Series.
