MINARDI TEAM ASIA, who are supported by the Minardi Formula One Team, announced today that they have chosen two Filipino drivers to compete in the 2004 Formula BMW Asia Series. Minardi are looking for the future Grand Prix stars of tomorrow and Formula BMW is an important step for young drivers on their way to Asian Formula Three and Formula One.

The Asian Formula 3 Corporation has promoted several forms of motor sport here in the Philippines for several years, so it only seems fitting that for the 2004 season they will step up again and sponsor a young 11 year old driver by the name of Brandon Angel.
