Last year's AF2000 Championship was a heated battle between two fierce racers. It was down to the line, in the last race, where the winner was to be crowned Champion of the AF2000. Due to a technicality, Dennis Lian edged out Mike Potenciano, for the win! Truly a crushing blow to Potenciano, who had thought he clinched the victory!

Veteran race car driver, Mike Potenciano, will be joining the Asian Formula 3 Series. Moving up from Asian Formula 2000, last year, Potenciano should prove to be a true contender for race wins in Formula 3.

The April 19 and 20 rounds of the Asian Festival of Speed has been cancelled, due to the SARS virus epidemic.

March 23, 2003- Team Release

Fresh from their successful race debut the day before in the Formula BMW Asia race supporting the Formula One Malaysian GP at the Sepang Circuit, the Team Goddard QHR duo of Dado Pena and Tyson Sy approached round two of the series, held prior to the Grand Prix itself, in a confident frame of mind.

They may be the two youngest and least experienced drivers in the race but Dado Pena and Tyson Sy impressed onlookers with their mature performances in the first ever Formula BMW Asian event held at the Sepang F1 Circuit in Malaysia today.
