Karjalainen was half a second clear of Walter Grubmuller on a wet but drying track with James Littlejohn an impressive third overall, first in the Promotions Class. Oilver Turvey was fourth with Moreno Soeprapto fifth.

Henri Karjalainen and Walter Grubmuller were again fastest in the final day of practice prior to qualifying and race one on Saturday. Moreno Soeprapto narrowed the gap to the two pace setters in a Dallara 301 car borrowed from Team Goddard to replace his recalcitrant Dallara 304 car. Moreno’s team mate, Oliver Turvey, was fourth fastest.

Henry Karjalainen was fastest in today's practice for this weekend's Asian F3 Pacific race at the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival event at the Zhuhai International Circuit. Walter Grubmuller was second with Oliver Turvey third.

McLaren Autosport BRDC Award winner, Oliver Turvey, has joined JA Motorsports for the Asian F3 Pacific Series. He takes over the seat of 2006 AF3 Champion James Winslow and will definitely be competitive. The growing credibility of Asian Formula Three is reflected by the fact that a driver of Turvey’s stature is joining the series. Turvey will be gunning for the prize of a sponsored drive in the Macau F3 GP to the series champion.

Dillon Battisini will race for new team, Drew-Evans Motorsport, at the first round of the Asian F3 Pacific Series in Zhuhai China on January 20-21st. Battistini was fourth in the 2006 Series and will start as one of the favourites in a Dallara 304 TOM’S car. James Littlejohn competed in Formula Renault in 2006 and will test the Speedtech 301 on the 17th and 18th.
