2006 Asian F3 Champion, James Winslow, won round ten of the Australian F3 Championship held at Philipp Island on June 22. A lights to flag win further demonstrated the quality of Asian F3 drivers who are winning races throughout the World.

Winslow was in a new car to him after financial woes due to the collapse of the company which had originally supported his drive resulted in last minute a team change. In the first of two races he was shunted out of second place by another competitor but he bounced back to take another win after starting from pole position. He now lies second in the championship.
