Vertex Racing, who are based in Zhuhai in China, may join the Asian Formula Series from the first race at Batangas on April 25th.

Vertex Racing's Paul Chan

Our sources indicate that Vertex will bring two cars for Jeffrey Lee and possibly Paul Chan. If they join this will result in a 16 car grid for the first event. Vertex use Dallara 301 specification cars powered by Renault engines and it mark a return to the series for the Marchy Lee managed team. In 2002 Vertex entered three cars for Marchy Lee and father and son, Paul and Jonathan Chan. Mrachy won both Sepang rounds and Paul finished third in the Championship.
