Mikola, who has competed in World Series Light with RC Motorsport in 2003, FIA Formula 3000 with Astromega and WRT and the European Formula 3000 Championship with Edenbridge, will not be new to Formula Three having won five rounds of the 2001 Central European Championship with the Prost F3 Grand Prix team.
He also competed in Italian F3 in 1998 and 1997. Prior to racing in Europe the Indonesian driver raced in the Formula Asia Series winning the 1996 Indonesian Championship.
