The first of the two sessions was slightly drier and John O'Hara posted a 1m 16.2 second lap to just pip Mark Goddard by .1 of a second. Richard Joson was next up on a 1m 17.3 followed by Pepon Marave who timed 1m 18.0 before beaching himself in the gravel. Mars Hsieh was first Promotion Class runner on 1m 18.3 followed by Kenkou Muira, Roland Hermoso, Machida and Wong. Don Pastor spun out after one lap only whilst Ananda Mikola suffered a slipping clutch.
The second session was wetter and Mark Goddard headed the timing sheets with a 1m 17.1 followed by O'Hara on 1m 17.7. Roland Hermoso improved by several seconds to time 1m 18.6 closely followed by Mars Hsieh on 1m 18.8 and Muira and Pastor both recording 1m 19.1. Marave was only just ahead of the latter with a 1m 19.0 whilst Ananda Mikola completed a handful of laps and recorded 1.22.8. Carlos Anton, Machida and Wong completed the runners. Richard Joson elected not to brave the wet conditions as did Christian Jones and Enzo Pastor who stayed in their pit garages for the whole day.
Practice continues tomorrow, watch this space for details.
