Tyson Sy, driving for Speedtech Asia in their Dallara 301 TOM'S machine headed the times with a 1m 25.3 lap. This was Sy's first drive in a 301 car and the first for his new team.
Rodolfo Avila was restricted to a half day run and finshed with a 1m 28.3 in his Dallara 302/4 TOM'S chassis. Avila was playing himself again to the challenging Batangas Race Circuit. "Its a great track to drive on but its really bumpy!" quipped Avila.
Irishman Greg Murphy had his first taste of a Formula Three car and the Batangas Circuit in the Team Goddard Dallara 301 TOM'S car. Murphy finished the day on a 1m 30.0 lap despite a few spins along the way. "This is a great track but it is physically really hard and the bumps are just amazing" said Murphy.
The test continues on Sunday March 6th, all three drivers joining.
