The reigning Asian Formula Three Champion has been chosen to partner Will Power in the Australian A1GP team. Jones joined the AF3 Series for the final event of 2003 and went on to win last years championship. An AF3 Spokesman said “We are delighted for Christian and this demonstrates how AF3 can help promote the careers of talented drivers. Christian was able to continue his career through our series and we hope this demonstrates that any driver should seriously look at Asian F3”.

The first A1GP event will take place at Brands Hatch in the UK on September 25th. Its not yet known if Power or Jones will race the car.
