Sy set his time early then sat out most of the session. He rejoined late in qualifying and set the second best of time of the session to confirm his pole time was no fluke. Winslow again set his best time at the end of the session after fitting two new tyres on the left side of the car after his first run.
Christian Jones was close in third but there are still doubts if his engine will last the distance tomorrow. Runaway championship leader, Ananda Mikola was a disappointed fourth whilst John O’Hara reckons he has a good race set up and was a place higher on the grid than during the August event where he jumped from sixth on the grid to win the race.
Dado Pena was mystified to be only sixth having been constantly in the top three during practice whilst Rodolfo Avila was extremely disappointed to be seventh, especially after being second fastest in the morning practice session.
Pepon Marave is sandwiched by Promotion Class runners, Moreno and Farrell with Murphy next up. Justin Leonard was a respectable 12th whilst Enzo Pastor suffered car problems and Mike Tuason was pleased to qualify, albeit last.
Indonesian’s can watch the races live on LATIVI TV at 11.00am and 3.00pm, tomorrow, Sunday 18th
