O’Hara led from start to finish, pulling away each lap from Ananda Mikola and Rodolfo Avila. At the start O’Hara and Mikola got away well whilst Avila was slow off the mark. Avila out braked Pena into turn one whilst Sy attempted to go around the outside of them both. The result was Pena was out on the spot with damaged suspension due to contact with Sy. The latter was chasing after Avila when he spun to the tail of the field. Sy then proceeded to scythe his way through the field, working his way up to the tail of Queenan when he went off for good at the final turn.
Legris initially held second in class with Moreno right on his tail. The latter found his way past with a few laps to go but Legris kept the pressure on just failing to pass the Indonesian at the line. Farrell was fourth in class, third in the final Championship points, whilst Greg Murphy finished fifth and second in the Championship. The latter drove for a finish to ensure he wrapped up second in the Class.
Special mention should go to James Winslow who started last as a result of his race one disqualification and really charged up the field taking no prisoners on his way to fourth place by mid race. The three leaders were by this time out of reach.
