Tyson Sy returns with Speedtech Asia – Feb 1 06

Double race winner in 2006, Tyson Sy, will return to the Series with the same team, Speedtech Asia, but with a new Dallara 304 chassis. He will start as one of the championship favourites , the 2004 Promotions Class Champion now entering his third year in the Series.

Speedtech Asia are joining a growing band of teams who will be running Dallara 304 chassis in this year’s championship, with Aran Racing and Team Goddard also acquiring the latest model chassis allowed in the Series. In fact with the rumoured announcements in the pipeline there could be up to 8 of the later chassis in this year’s series.

An upbeat Tyson Sy remarked “I’m very happy with the way Speedtech Asia handled my 2005 campaign. I’m looking forward to driving for them again this year. Of course, we all know that our switching to a newer chassis will bring new challenges. I’m confident that Edgen Dy-Liacco and his technicians will be up to the task.”
