The Asian Formula Three Corporation received a Special Citation Award for outstanding contribution to motor sport from the Philippine Sports Writers Association. The President of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, attended the award ceremony held in Manila.

Eddie Pena receives award

Chairman of the Asian Formula Three Corporation, Eddie Pena, received the prestigious award at the gala evening held in the capital of the Philippines. “We are happy the efforts of AF3 have been recognized by the media and it illustrates the growing popularity of Asian Formula Three in the Asian region” commented Pena. “The continued growth in media coverage throughout the region further demonstrates the commercial value AF3 offers to our partners”.
