James Winslow, third in the 2005 Asian Formula Three Series, will take part in a five driver shoot out to decide who will drive in A1GP Team Britain this year.

Winslow reported that John Surtees informed him he will be part of the shoot out at a date and venue to be established. "Hopefully I can win the AF3 Championship this year and join Ananda Mikola in A1GP to demonstrate how competitive AF3 has become" said an upbeat Winslow.

Winslow hopes to announce his 2006 AF3 plans very shortly. He is rumoured to be joining Dado Pena with Team Goddard. Team boss, Mark Goddard, confirmed that they are hoping Winslow can join the team.
