Creating Racing Heroes is being launched in the Philippines through adverts on the live TV coverage of the first event of 2006, to be held at the Batangas Race Circuit. Designed to help fund future Filipino racing stars, the aim is to help find the young stars of tomorrow.

The first drivers to be chosen for the promotion are Dado Pena, Tyson Sy, Gaby dela Merced and karters Joey Orduna and Roby Benito. Corporations and individuals will be invited to join the Creating Racing Heroes Foundation which will allow them to receive all the usual commercial benefits of sponsorship together with some tax relief. Full details will be available after the launch of the foundation.
