Sy, Jackson, Pena and Moreno look like they will be battling for pole position on Saturday whilst Satrio and Dele Merced are extremely close at the head of the Promotions Class field. Race one, which will be shown live on Zhuhai and Guangzhou TV in China will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2.15pm will be an exciting race on the evidence of practice. The true picture, as usual, will only be known when all drivers are on new tyres at the same time for the qualifying session on Saturday morning.
