Dado Pena qualified on pole position by a mere .035 of a second from James Winslow with Ali Jackson third and Tyson Sy last after engine problems. Satrio Hermanto is on pole position for the Promotions Class.

An overcast sky and light drizzle greeted the field for today’s qualifying session for round seven of the series which will take place this afternoon. Prior to that the postponed round six will start later this morning with James Winslow consigned to the back of the grid. The top four starters will be Jackson, Battistini, Sy and Pena. Sy changed his engine after last practice on Friday, a move he now regrets as he encountered some sort engine malady which saw him post the slowest time of qualifying. The team have two hours to change engines…….
