Bumgarner was the first female to win a Promotions Class race on her series debut at the first even of the year at the Batangas Race Circuit and she returns to Team Goddard for the Sentul event on September 19-23rd.

Bumgarner was forced to miss the Zhuhai rounds of the series due to conflicting races in the Italian Karting Championship which has been her focus this season. Mark Goddard, Team Proprietor, reckons she has a very good chance of winning again in Sentul. “At Batangas she made an extremely impressive debut, she had the speed but her starts let her down. I am sure her starting technique will not be a problem this time so we fully expect her to win again.”

Bumgarner will renew her rivalry with fellow Filipina, Gaby Dela Merced, and Promotions Class leader, Satrio Hermanto. It is rumoured that another female racer may join the class in Sentul, if so Satrio will have his hands full to stay on top of the girls.
