PTRS Racing Team joins AF3 – Jun 29 07

The Ping Tzuo Racing Spirit(Hong Kong) Team will join the 2007-8 Asian Formula Three Series with a minimum of two cars. PTRS is based at the Zhuhai Circuit in China and is one of several new teams expected to join the series.

The team is managed by the Asian F3 Pacific Promotions Class Champion, Paul Ip. Technical support will be provided by his AF3 Pacific team, Team Goddard. Mark Goddard of TGF3 reports “We look forward to building a successful team with PTRS and their Hong Kong Touring Car entry has already demonstrated they will bring a new level of presentation to the series”.

It has not yet been decided if Paul Ip will drive for his new team as they already have two new drivers lined up. The series will begin in October at the Batangas Race Circuit in the Philippines and it is expected to be the strongest year yet for AF3.
