Goddard will take over the car of team mate Jo Jo Silverio who is the newly crowned 2003 Asian Formula Three Promotion Class Champion, having wrapped up the title in the previous round in Beijing. Silverio will now race the car driven by Hideaki Machida in Beijing.
"Jojo very kindly offered me his car as I need to ensure second place in the International Series and he has already wrapped up the Promotions Class." remarked Goddard. " Its going to be difficult in the older model car but I will give it my best shot".
