2008 Asian F3 Champion, Frederic Vervisch, continued the trend of success for past Asian F3 drivers by winning the latest round of the German F3 Championship held at Hockenheim. Fellow AF3 racer, Rafael Suzuki, qualified on pole position for the same race.

Vervisch has closed the points gap to championship leader, Matteo Chinosi, to just four points and he is confident he can add the German F3 Championship winners cup to his expanding trophy cabinet.

In the first of the two race weekend at the Hockenheim circuit Vervisch qualified 3rd and Suzuki 6th. The Belgian finished fourth with Suzuki in 5th place. The second race saw Suzuki start on pole with Vervisch fourth. Extremely wet conditions played into the hands of Vervisch who took a fantastic race win. Suzuki eventually finished 8th.
